El Chapo's father-in-law is denied early release from Mexican prison

Inés Coronel, whose daughter Emma Coronel is married to Joaquín 'El Chapo' Guzmán, is serving a 10-year sentence in Mexico. Mexican news outlet La Silla Rota reported Thursday that courts in Mexico have rejected his petitions for early prison release on several occasions since 2019.
