A 35-year-old petrol attendant, Elijah Chinonso has been arraigned before an Ile-Ife Magistrates’ Court for alleged fraud.

The prosecutor, Inspector Sunday Osanyintuyi, told the court that the accused person, an attendant at the filling station, failed to remit the sum of N550,000 being sales for the month of June and fraudulently converted the money to his personal use.The accused person who is facing a charge of fraud, however, pleaded not guilty to the charge levelled against him.
