The Jacob G Zuma Foundation said the former president believed that the majority judgment, delivered by acting chief justice Sisi Khampepe, showed that the country's courts did not act independently and without bias.

The foundation said that the “primacy of our constitution” was not upheld in Khampepe's majority judgment.

“At a bare minimum, this means that courts must act independently and without bias, with unremitting fidelity to the law, and must be seen to be doing so. That did not happen in the Constitutional Court, as evidenced by this judgment,” the statement read. “The principle of equality before the law was clearly violated, and the Zondo commission was given an advantage in a case that was adjudicated by DCJ Zondo's colleagues, whom he supervises,” the statement read.

Watching how the acting chief justice delivered the judgment looked like she was looking forward to it & was excited to be in charge i just hope it was purely justice not another capture

Just wondering what informed that conclusion 🤔?

Of course they will say that. Predictable.

‘I want my day in court…’ and when the day arrives, he neither wants the presiding judge nor the state prosecutor kkkkk

Well Zuma how does that make you feel. You did this to yourself by being a big fat criminal who cares nothing about the people you step on to steal money

On the contrary the bench did no more than express it’s dismay that a former president showed a contemptuous disregard for our apex court and constitution, this despite overtures from the court to Zuma to explain his position. Quite how that translates into bias is unexplained.

What a nonsensical posture. It is crazy to expect a perpetual recusal of judges, why can't Justices adjudicate contempt cases of their own court? It's becoming irritating now. As for justices are 'supervised'? Why TF do we get dissenting judgements? Even from chief justice? GTFOH

Fracas brewing.

Any tangible proof maybe

He continues to insult the courts. Why didn't he go the and made these submissions. He wants to be tried by the public

Every South African knows that our courts are no good l mean this doesn't need any evidence at all
