Zuma was ordered to present himself to correctional services, failing which the police minister must enforce the court order.
She added that when “the constitutional safeguards of the judiciary are undermined so egregiously”, the Constitution empowers “the court to respond swiftly and effectively in its own interest and in the interest of justice”. She was quick to add that “never before has the authority and legitimacy of the Constitutional Court been subjected to the kinds of attacks that Zuma has elected to launch against it and its members, and never before has the judicial process been so threatened”.
Khampepe said that while Zuma had attempted to justify his actions through numerous public statements, this was “of no relevance as the statements were not formally pleaded” in court. “In terms of a punitive order, a sentence of imprisonments cannot be avoided by any attempt to comply with the original order. The sentence is related to both the seriousness of the default and the contumacy of the respondent.”
As a black person I'm not happy about the court's decision, some are black but, deep down they white 😄😄😄😄😄😄
