Sara rules out Duterte-Duterte tandem

Davao City Mayor Sara Duterte-Carpio will not run for president if her father, President Rodrigo Duterte, will gun for the vice presidency in 2022, Chief Presidential Legal Counsel Salvador Panelo said.

"Sabi ni Mayor Sara, 'pag tumakbo si PRD vice president ay 'hindi na ako tatakbo' runs for vice president 'I will not run')." "Hindi na ako makakatakbo kasi sabi niya yung Duterte-Duterte very unlikely 'yan ," Panelo said in his television show"Counterpoint.""Iba naman yung reason ni Sara, more of personal yung kanya ," Panelo said.

Sara has yet to announce her plans for 2022. The President has repeatedly declared that he does not want the Davao mayor to run for president.
