Everyone should be happy about the results, but they are not. Many people are mad, because the conviction has done nothing to fix the issue. If someone resists arrest and refuses to get into the back of a police vehicle, the police can and will use force.

Chauvin is expected to appeal. He also faces federal civil rights charges along w/ the other policemen charged in George Floyd’s death. This trial is expected to commence in early 2022. It is not over.
