Kula wants RCI on independence of the judiciary

The former human resources minister and Ipoh Barat MP M Kulasegaran says a compromised judiciary will severely affect the nation’s foreign direct investments. – The Malaysian Insight file pic, June 23, 2021.

A royal commission of inquiry must be set up to investigate the independence of judiciary after allegations that court decisions could be fixed have surfaced, said M Kulasegaran. The former human resources minister said such allegations meant the independence of the judiciary and legal profession was at stake.
