The Fair Work Ombudsman is taking Woolworths to court in relation to "major underpayments" of its salaried managers.
This prompted the FWO to carry out an investigation, by assessing a sample of 70 salaried Woolworths managers for their work between March 2018 and March 2019. The FWO alleges that the underpayments for those individual managers ranged from $289 to $85,905 during the one-year timeframe. "We also allege that significant underpayments have not been fully back-paid, and we will seek court orders for Woolworths to recalculate and rectify all underpayments for all affected employees.”
And they'd sack you and have you charged for putting your hand in the till. Their greed and horrific work practices know no bounds. 20 years and have deep psychological scars from them and a decade of underpayments. Awful
Woolwoths doing this is not new, I worked for them over a decade ago at a Dicksmith store and refused to be accept a salary. I calculated that all the unpaid OT, call-outs, after hours callbacks and lack of penalty rates, the resulting pay would have been less then minimum wage.
Oh really....I don't think you know that there is already a class action against these greedy bastards...So now Fairwork are trying to undermine them. Hopefully FederalCourt make sure the other class action is given priority. This is just corrupt
Cant be so Woolworth are at the forefront of these wonderful jobs the govt is promising
Thats how they are getting richer
