, bringing a surprise motion to debate the legislation in the Senate.

The bill, along with two others relating super, were brought on in the Senate on Wednesday evening for a second reading and debate. This may mean a vote on the controversial changes is reached on Thursday. The decision to bring on three bills has prompted speculation from senior Labor sources that the government will secure the support of One Nation’s Pauline Hanson, who has proposed amendments to the More Flexible Superannuation Bill.
