State police Commissioner Datuk Hazani Ghazali advised the public to strictly observe the rules set for the lockdown to avoid getting on the wrong side of the law.Comm Hazani said it was important for everyone to play their role in helping the state and country break the chain of infection.
He added that police will be issuing details of SOPs and the placement of roadblocks across the state on Wednesday . On Sunday , the state government said 26 additional roadblocks will be set up throughout the state as part of the nationwide lockdown during the current movement control order. State Covid-19 spokesman Datuk Seri Masidi Manjun said more checkpoints would give the authorities greater control over people's movements during the lockdown.With rising Covid-19 cases, Sabah has decided to implement the nationwide lockdown imposed by the Federal Government from Tuesday until June 14.
