A former Oyo State Governor, Chief Adebayo Alao-Akala, has urged Governor Seyi Makinde to postpone the local government elections scheduled to hold on May 22.

Alao-Akala said, “Going on with the local government election as earlier scheduled will throw the state into another round of legal gymnastics. Meanwhile, Minister of Youth and Sports Development, Mr. Sunday Dare, has hailed the judgment which nullified the sacking of the council officials.
