In December 2019, an exclusion notice was served to Ms Smith by the British Home Secretary barring her from entering the UK on the grounds of public security. The exclusion notice was based on regulations which provide for the exclusion of a national of an European Economic Area state who is not also a British citizen.
"As an Irish citizen who resides in a border town, it was always asserted that to restrict her from travelling across the border was unlawful and could not be stood over. We warmly welcome the court's determination today which will now reinstate our client's basic rights to travel to the North of Ireland at her convenience."
So how is this different from Shamima Begum, who was denaturalised on the grounds of her being a dual citizen?
What is it with these scum bags were the law is people like her should have been left out there and never let back into the country it’s time things changed
she should be under house arrest, not free to leave the country.
The Liberal class in Ireland insisted on rescuing her because she's Irish after all and couldn't be that bad..she used Ireland for a terrorist staging post..when will these do gooders ever learn..but I'm sure she only wants to go to the UK to shop for a new hibab on Oxford St.
European countries are a soft touch now. We are doomed.
Wow, makes a mockery of all decent people..
The 'so-called' Islamic State? As in the name they gave themselves in their press release carried by a 16 yr old kid thrown for a roof for being gay. THAT Islamic State? Are they alleged c*nts? Or actual c*nts? Guilty until proven innocent IMHO
Put her down
Shameful she should never been let back into Ireland
Don't like the term former defence forces. Please stop saying it. She is an insult to the present and former members who put their lives at risk to preserve peace. Whereas she has done the opposite. So please stop using the term an insult to our brave members
Looks like it was overturned due to a loophole. Her dads from Belfast so she's entitled to British citizenship. Without that, she'd still be on the list. Here's a question though. Can the Brits arrest her and charge her as well once she's in their jurisdiction?
Get her out of Ireland anyway😁
You could also say she was banned on the grounds of “public security”
