People have become more likely to use a new brand or stop using one because of its response to calls for racial justice, according to a new survey released Thursday. And they say corporations are doing more than individual brands to make change on race issues, a reversal from earlier results.
“Last August, brands were significantly more trusted to deal with this systematic race issue than corporations, and now that’s flipped,” Mr. Edelman said. It is in marketers’ interest to address race, according to Mr. Edelman. Some 42% of respondents to the new survey said they had started or stopped using a brand in the past year because of its response to protests against racial injustice, up 7 points from the survey in August.

Not true for me. I just want to watch sports while not having to hear the players political views. If it going they’ll start to consistently use every opportunity as a platform...oh wait, they do that now. Don’t mistake this for not caring about racial justice.
