Mitchell said he had not and could serve impartially. Singapore has abolished jury trials. Lee Kuan Yew had no faith in a system that allowed 'the superstition, ignorance, biases, and prejudices' of jurymen to determine guilt or innocence. I cannot agree with him more. I am gutted by Chauvin's act, but he deserves a fair trial.
