Convicted murderer and former Minneapolis police officer Derek Chauvin has requested a new trial over the death of George Floyd.

1min

His lawyers argue he was deprived of a fair trial due to prosecutorial and jury misconduct and errors of law with the defence outlining its case citing an abuse of court discretion. A jury found Chauvin guilty of second-degree murder, third-degree murder and second-degree manslaughter. Chauvin will be sentenced next month under the most serious crime of second-degree murder which carries a maximum penalty of 40 years in prison.

Of course Chauvin is. If only Floyd was still alive to request a re-arrest.

It was Manslaughter, not Murder! How did they Prove that his Intent was to Kill!!

Let him rot, it was literally recorded on camera, there is no way he isn't guilty
