A former college football offensive line coach filed a lawsuit earlier this week in the hope of getting his job back after he was canned for a derogatory tweet about Georgia politician Stacey Abrams.

Malone deleted the tweet after former players responded negatively. He said in the lawsuit he heard nothing about the tweet until Jan. 6, when Wright allegedly told him the matter had gone"over his head." Malone was then called on to resign the next day."Our football program has a clear set of standards," Wright said in a statement."Those standards include respecting others. It is a message our players hear daily. It is a standard I will not waiver on.

Wharton added:"The sentiments in that post do not represent the values of our football program, our athletics department or our university.""Calling politicians liars and cheaters is a proud American tradition. Nobody’s got a problem with it until [it's] ‘their’ politician," Malone said in the complaint."And fat jokes might be unkind, but they aren’t uncommon. Just ask Chris Christie and Donald Trump.

Malone had spent two seasons at Tennessee-Chattanooga. He was also a coach at Old Dominion and Virginia State.Ryan Gaydos is the sports editor for FoxNews.com. Follow him on social media @Gaydos_

That's a fat Hippo

If he wasn't such a sorry coach, maybe they would cut him some slack

No it didn’t.

You have to be pretty fucking stupid to insult black people when you're going to be in their living rooms trying to convince African American kids to come play oline for you.

Why is her name always connected to cheating?

🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

Stacey Abrams is a patriot...🇺🇸

You can say what I want to say but code of conduct is something that jobs have you sign. If he sign it , he agreed to it and now he will suffer the consequences of his actions. He will not win his case

You are tricky ass

Fat peeg

I, too, believe I have an absolute right to get paid by whomever I choose for saying anything I want. your refusal to give me a daytime segment where I spend an hour screaming imprecations at your entire crew for 500k/year violates my 1A rights. I'll see you in court.
