From WSJopinion: The Left’s rejection of the judicial process’s legitimacy is rooted in the same neo-Marxist ideology that holds sway over the minds of much of our ruling class, writes gerardtbaker

But what’s frighteningly new about our current climate is that the rejection of apparently unwelcome trial outcomes is now part of the dominant progressive critique of our longstanding political and civic order. If U.S. institutions are the product of white-supremacist exploitation—as is essentially the consensus of the people who run the government, most corporations, and leading cultural institutions—then the judicial system itself is inherently and systemically unjust.

The ascendancy of this new progressive radicalism adds a frightening element to the unease the nation feels this week as the jury deliberates in Minneapolis. By all accounts the trial of Mr. Chauvin has been rigorous, methodical and fair. The prosecution seemed to make a strong case that Mr. Floyd died at least in part as a result of the officer’s actions. The defense may have sowed some doubts about whether Mr.

In one of the more savage ironies of history, some two decades later the authors themselves were tried by such courts under Josef Stalin and sentenced to death.

opinion gerardtbaker Another daily reminder from and opinion that the REAL victims of racism in America are . . . . .wait for it . . . . . .WHITES.

opinion gerardtbaker Lol no

opinion gerardtbaker bullshit

opinion gerardtbaker Black fathers matter

gerardtbaker opinion This is complete 🗑️

opinion gerardtbaker Members of Floyd's parole board ought to be the next people to go on trial. There the ones really responsible for his death -- an unrehabilitated/unrepentant violent felon and drug addict who should never have been back on the street in the first place.

opinion gerardtbaker Feed your pig slop to yourself...you're the only who will eat at that though. 🐷

opinion gerardtbaker This sounds like a bunch of racist far right crazy talk

opinion gerardtbaker Ignorance takes place when you stop educating yourself, the ruling class are preoccupied by irrelevant things and don't know how to focus on one thing at a time, instead they treat it all the same. A 50/50 coin flip if you will

opinion gerardtbaker I don’t think the rejection of the judicial process was a left or right issue. Everyone questioned whether Chauvin would in fact be found guilty and the concern came from past cases (Zimmerman et al) where police managed to be found not guilty.

opinion gerardtbaker Hahahaha remember when you were a legitimate newspaper? Sad

opinion gerardtbaker Utter garbage. Journal has gone to shit.

opinion gerardtbaker What does it take to become and continue as a WSJ opinion writer?

opinion gerardtbaker I have to admit that its great that i now save 20 minutes a day by not reading the WSJ editorial pages now that they have become unreadable.

opinion gerardtbaker WSJ. You are the ruling class. Stop pretending you’re the average Joe.

opinion gerardtbaker Absolutely right. Thanks for sharing WSJ.

opinion gerardtbaker This is just silly.

opinion gerardtbaker

opinion gerardtbaker

opinion gerardtbaker interesting how stupid horsecrap invented by fascists on 2015 youtube is just something the WSJ publishes as an opinion in 2021

opinion gerardtbaker A bit overly dramatic in the analogy but seems fair to say. People seem awe struck when the left acts at all like the right. And perhaps the video was the only reason justice was finally served today. How many times have the circumstances been the same but no video?

opinion gerardtbaker OUTSTANDING.

opinion gerardtbaker explain the cohesion of that sentence plz

opinion gerardtbaker 👍👍👍

opinion gerardtbaker Well, that was some right-wing racist bullshit.

opinion gerardtbaker This sort of nut job “logic” is why I stopped subscribing after 25 years.

opinion gerardtbaker Gerry how is the COVID pandemic back home.

opinion gerardtbaker this is honestly the dumbest thing I've read in a month

opinion gerardtbaker WSJ opinion pieces should just be on FDRLST & BreitbartNews nowadays.

opinion gerardtbaker Chelsea Handler and 'Marxist' in the same sentence. Amazing. Your head is so far up your ass you have no idea what's what, LOL.

opinion gerardtbaker jfc

opinion gerardtbaker gerardtbaker is complaining about people saying they saw what the video clearly showed, Chauvin murdered George Floyd. Yet, how many on the right were happy to sentence George Floyd (and others) to death for 'resisting arrest' and being a 'criminal' without due process?

opinion gerardtbaker 'Opinion' pieces like this is why I gleefully ignore any invitations to subscribe. Ya'll are seriously irrevocably LOST. nevertrustwhitemedia

opinion gerardtbaker The Left always telegraphs their intentions, complete CONTROL by denigrating everything American. They hate America, they hate religion, they hate the family unit, they hate the constitution, they hate the police, they hate you but they LOVE POWER & CONTROL

opinion gerardtbaker Don't think we don't know that 'neo-Marxist ideology' is a cowardly dogwhistle.

opinion gerardtbaker This is beneath the . No one cares what Chelsea Handler says. Also, maybe the author doesn’t know this, but there is a process for disposing of a case without a trial. It’s called a guilty plea. (Tons of poor Black people do it every day.)

opinion gerardtbaker You lost me at 'legitimacy.' KellyThomas ChauvinTrial

opinion gerardtbaker Yeah no. A better headline is 'Old White Journalist Mistakes When a Cop is Convicted of Murdering a Black Man as a Constitutional Amendment with a Dash of Stalin Thrown In for Good Measure'. I know it's long but it's truer than your current one.

opinion gerardtbaker crazy opinion

Chris Hayes: Why the Chauvin verdict is the exception, not the rule'The fact of the matter is, Derek Chauvin got more due process than at least 90% of criminal defendants in this country,' chrislhayes says on the Chauvin trial. 'People start to think that a trial like that represents American justice — it doesn't.' chrislhayes Clearly it doesn't.. WE NEED MORE VICTIMS!! chrislhayes If only Chris Hayes hadn’t platformed the Tara Reade Hoax, I would take his “90%” statement as a matter of fact rather than as some random projection. chrislhayes Yeah, you're concerned about due process...
