A man who was sitting in his car agreed to give another man a lift, but was later threatened with what is believed to have been a knife.
The driver of the car jumped from the vehicle close to a petrol station in Portlaoise and received minor injuries. He is due to appear before Kilmallock District Court this evening.
I’m sure he’ll be in the women’s wing of Limerick prison this time next week!
