FORTY-seven violations of the Occupational Safety and Health Act involving workplace accidents have been brought to court between January and March 28, this year. Human Resources Deputy Minister Awang Hashim said some of the cases handled by the Department of Occupational Safety and Health had been resolved while others were still ongoing, and so far, a total of RM740,400 in fines had been collected in the cases.
