Paramedics who treated George Floyd testified he was not breathing and had no pulse when they arrived at the scene of his deadly arrest last May at the murder trial of former officer Derek Chauvin

“In lay terms, I thought he was dead,” Derek Smith, one of the paramedics, told the jury. By the time Smith arrived, Chauvin, who is white, had been pressing his knee into the neck of Floyd, a 46-year-old Black man in handcuffs, for about nine minutes, a scene that ignited global protests against police brutality.

Courteney Ross, 45, was the first person who personally knew Floyd to testify in the trial, and with a heart-shaped brooch pinned to her black jacket she tearfully spoke of their romance and their shared struggles with opioid addiction. They had their first kiss in the lobby that night and, but for the occasional break after a lovers’ quarrel, were together until his death, she said.

“It’s a classic story of how many people get addicted to opioids,” Ross said. “We both suffered from chronic pain: mine was in my neck, his was in his back.”“Addiction, in my opinion, is a lifelong struggle,” she said. “It’s not something that comes and goes, it’s something I’ll deal with forever.”

Fucking killer

Deadly. Didn’t anyone ever teach you about bias and adverbs.

And all 3 were still kneeling on a dead man, as paramedic took his pulse. Someone wants to tell them George Floyd's body can't get up and run or fight, anymore? They ganged up on a handcuffed man, choked him, and dragged him to the ground, to kneel on him as they killed him.

Floyd did a home invasion on a pregnant woman. Stuck a pistol in her belly, SHE BEGGED FOR HER UNBORN CHILD'S LIFE. And he has a long criminal record. Interesting that the black community bullies the public to so highly honor that sort of person. Media won’t interview that woman.

Paramedics come across this all the time, all around the world! It’s called a drug overdose. Check it out, thousands a day all around the world!

Crying 😭 the world is crying 😭

Would appreciate it, if the headline characterized it as his, 'alleged murder,' instead of his arrest. If you're arrested your family can go to the county jail and speak with you, hire you a lawyer, send you postcards. This obviously was not an arrest.

Why is there even a trial? Derek Chauvin needs to explain the video and convince us it looks worse then it was...also get the slimey autopsy guy to show his evidence
