The cashier who suspected George Floyd gave him a fake $20 bill spoke as surveillance video of the exchange was played. His testimony in the Derek Chauvin trial continues.

that Chauvin knelt on Floyd's neck. They told the jury,"You can believe your eyes that it's a homicide," prosecuting attorney Jerry Blackwell said Monday.Defense attorney Eric Nelson argued that the case was more complicated than just that video.

He also said that the bystanders morphed into a threatening crowd, which distracted the officers. During cross-examinations of some witnesses, he tried to get them to admit they and the crowd were angry.Genevieve Hansen, a Minneapolis firefighter and trained EMT, was out for a walk on her day off. She testified that when she saw the Floyd incident in front of Cup Foods, she tried to help, but former officer Tou Thao refused her access to treat Floyd.

She later called 911, but said she should have called"immediately." After Floyd was taken away in an ambulance, she testified that she stood on the sidewalk in shock at what she just saw.Donald Wynn Williams II, a bystander and MMA fighter, said that Chauvin performed a"blood choke" on Floyd and adjusted his positioning several times to maintain pressure on Floyd's neck.

During cross-examination, Williams acknowledged that he had repeatedly called Chauvin and Thao names and yelled at them even after Floyd had been taken away in an ambulance. Yet he rejected defense attorney Eric Nelson's description that he had grown"angry" on the scene.Chauvin faces a second-degree murder charge, a third-degree murder charge and a second-degree manslaughter charge.

Dead man tells no tales

If the fentanyl killed him he would have been dead before he even had an encounter with the officer. Due to how the officer handled him his breathing was obstructed.

Will prosecutors decide to bring Chauvin on the stand and if they do is that a correct move?

Everybody's all over this junkie drug dealer who overdosed other than paying attention to the two black girls that murdered and Uber Eats driver

The cop plain ass chocked him out. Prosecute him to the fullest. We good go to jail for life. He is 100% guilty. He knew he was killing him remember he’s trained.

I hope the prosecutor in his closing statement asks the Jury to hold their breath for 9 minutes and 20 seconds....to see how GeorgeFloyd felt as he was dying.

What did the autopsy say? I have to work and can't see the trial. I'm betting it doesn't say that the cause of death was a $20 bill. For people to say that's the reason he died is bs.

They can bring witnesses after witnesses,Mr Floyd should still be walking among us

Is George Floyd on trial? No, Derek Chauvin is. Then why does it matter if he used a counterfeit bill? Even if he was committing a crime, there’s no excuse for the Chauvin to kneel on his chest until he’s dead. That’s still murder, regardless of Floyd’s crime.

I'd like to know why the police was called over a suspected fake $20 bill. Most stores just say they won't take it. Was this a racist act on part of the store?

Am I right in thinking George Floyd burgled and raped a pregnant woman once ?

he was a middle aged man who was highAF,spent his life in and out of jail, junkie, criminal who robbed familes etc. now the country burns it itself down over it!! i dont agree with his death but what about the 1000s of black men being killed everyday by eachother

I wonder how he is feeling.

This cashier and the police officer conspired to kill George Floyd. How dare he called the police over a fake bill? Was Mr. Floyd the maker of the fake bill?

After watching yesterday’s trial coverage, I never heard any officer reciting Mr Floyd’s maranda rights. And from Dereck’s body cam footage, it seems as though he was attempting to choke Mr Floyd’s when they were attempting to put him back in the car. Looks premeditation to me

Who cares about a 20 dollar bill? In school did a teacher kneel on your neck because you got caught cheating? Did your parents kneel on your neck because you didn't clean your room? This cop placed his knee on this man's neck and he looked on into the crowd like he was some king.

If the fentanyl was the cause of death would all this be taking place. His system was full of it. That's what stopped his heart

When you can't defend the assassination, you attack a black man's character. It's always the same.

My belief is, he did not know it wasn’t a real $20. bill. This cop kneeled on the neck of a 14yr old black boy, several years ago. He started

I think that this whole trial is a waste of taxpayers dollars. The recordings depicts what really happend?

All of this is just a distraction. Was Chauvin following protocol when he kneeled on Floyd’s neck for 8+ minutes? Personally it sounds like the accused is out of his mind.

I have sanitised every dollar bill I've come in contact with since Covid okay? I am grateful to all those who have accepted these bills from me and not thought them to be fake. 🙏

It all starts from home people. Floyd put himself in this situation and died because of it... period. Raise your kids properly or don't have kids at all if you can't be a role model..

Whether he passed a fake note or not is irrelevant!! It’s the actions of the ‘ex-police officer’ that are on trial.

George was no match to a racist cop with a gun pointing at his head. A modern day lynching. Chauvin should get a life sentence, City and States that resist gun reform should be sued to bankruptcy. GunReformNow

What if a black cop killed a white guy for a fake $20? Would the trial be this long?

Cashier started the whole thing by getting cops involved.

It was murder ....

Greed, fear, cowardice and lack of education makes a person to behave like a monster. The change has to be introduced from childhood. A great leader is required to achieve this throughout the world.

Fucking criminal Simple as

Passing counterfeit bills is Not a Capital offense But storming the Capital is

I received a few fake bills when I used to bartend, I never called the cops because maybe the person is not aware is fake. There are some fake bills that only if you are trained you will know is not a real bill, and he was high out of his mind on top of that.

Floyd was saying he couldn’t breathe before he was put on the ground. He continued to say he couldn’t breath while on the ground. If you are choking you can’t talk. This is not hard. He Died of a drug overdose thanks to meth and fentanyl. Brace yourself for the verdict.

What is I say the 'fake' bill was more real than the cops?

there is a whole backstory about the cops and counterfeit and money laundering and the reason this all sounds suspicious is bc the motive for the killing was beyond a 20 bill.

Kid said he’s just eat the cost and let GF go. Wtf

Wow

Had chauvin not knelt on his neck he would still be alive drugs or no drugs.

Call the police over 20 bucks? Ridiculous!

Floyd was a regular customer, & you call the police on him for a measly $20. Believe it or not we all may have had fake bills unknowingly they are out there. He could have denied service! stop supporting everyone’s business that don’t support our black people! He’s just as guilty

This dude called the police on a black man for a possible fake $20 bill!!!! Not $100. He could have denied service! This is why we need to stop supporting everyone’s business that don’t support our black people, communities or businesses in return. He’s just as guilty for murder

Obviously allegedly passing a fake $20 bill is a bigger crime than breaking into the Capitol and beating cops to death and threatening to kill the VP and Speaker of the House.

To those questioning why this is important-1. That George Floyd was likely falsely imprisoned in the first place. 2. And that George Floyd wasn’t some dangerous criminal.

Who gave birth to KKK? Hell yeah its the Democrat party.

Be interesting to see how this shakes out, Sony wants to have their own walled garden with PlayStation products, wonder how this case will affect their ambitions for a similar economic fiefdom. this isn't even remotely close to a 'serious legal threat', this is performative if anything That's exactly why I will never use an iPhone.🤑🤑🤑🤑😱
