Restorative justice is an approach to healing. But how is it possible with sociopaths, pathological liars, black-out drinkers who rely on fractured memory for truth?

‘The Kavanaugh hearings and subsequent confirmation unleashed a pyroclastic cloud of salty ash into our wounds.’ - Ariel Leve Well said, Ariel.

I wonder if Sean(n) sic, Walsh has apologised to his partner, for the kiss but much more importantly for his conduct towards her, mind you any man that behaves like that in the first place probably has little if any insight into his behaviour.

Never hang around long enough for an apology - if someone gaslights you, all you can do is get out of there. The person will not change.

I am pretty sure that a person who gaslights is incapable of a sincere apology. The apology, if it came, would be made in such a way, that you would be made to feel guilty for their apology

It's been my experience that people who gaslight are far too narcissistic and mean-spirited to even consider an apology. They tend to blame the victim. If you 'allowed' it to happen, well then, it must be your fault. Chances are slim to none on any apology.

Having been gaslit for years by someone I trusted implicitly, I can say that it's an incredibly destructive thing to do to someone. However, an apology is meaningless. They won't mean it. It's just opening the door for them to get back into your head. Move on. Learn from it.

As a former victim to NPD abuse and severe gaslighting. This story is utter BS

Expecting an apology from a sociopath seems counterproductive.
