A hawker who did not want to be named said water rose up to"thigh-level" and added that the issue has been plaguing the area for more than 20 years.
“We have raised our concerns with our area councillor and the Petaling Jaya City Council but it has yet to be addressed.“We suspect the cause of the flood is a clogged drain behind Jalan 227. “This has to stop as it is affecting us. Items such as plates can be seen floating in the floodwaters while traders scramble to try and rescue their items.

Can the government once and for all put a time frame to work on eradicate this recurring problem. Lots of money and time lost to clean up year in year out.
