, the theft of naked or near naked images can leave people so desperate they consider ending their lives. This is an incredibly serious crime which needs urgent action.

85,000 women are raped and over 400,000 women are sexually assaulted in England and Wales every year.I heard from one woman who said all of her friends had shared naked images of themselves from the age of 13 and all had lived to regret it - despite how fun they found it at the time. All of them.

“However these images aren’t the property of anyone else. I’d be extremely angry if anyone chose to share these images publicly apart from me.”
