Mr Lee’s sexual orientation and the slogan on the cake amounted to the same thing; they can no more be separated from one another than the eggs and flour can be extracted from a cake once baked

They applied the Law. What something 'should' do, in your opinion, is not currently the Law.

You are wrong.True Christians believe that marriage must be between a man and a woman. They have every right to express their Christians beliefs. If a Christian go to a gay bakery and ask them to bake a cake with a message ' I don't support gay marriage.' would they accept it?

Yeah, screw the rights of the bakers. If you dare to have your own views outside of the ultra liberal attitudes of the self appointed masters of all things 'correct' then you don't deserve rights, right? 'Liberals', the real fascists, fact.

The problem was not the customer want to purchase the cake, but the political slogan the want on it. In th 80s I worked in a t-shirt printing booth we refused to print vulgar language or political slogans. It was our policy.

Of course the socialists at the Indepenent believe in forced labor 🙄

Was it baking a cake for an actual wedding?

Forcing you to work for someone you dont want to? I think we have a word for that......

Amen.

UK supreme court backs bakery that refused to make gay wedding cakeJudges find in favour of appeal, ruling there was no discrimination on grounds of sexual orientation I don’t think people should be forced to print messages they disagree with. So this sounds right to me. OK. Well I am sure god would be super happy for people to discriminate and tell god what they should believe

Christian bakers who refused to bake 'gay cake' were not discriminatingThe Supreme Court ruled in favour of the bakers after they were accused of discriminating against gay customers. I mean, they were... A victory for the Classic Liberal. Progressives love to force their values on people - wholly illiberal. As Tatchell argues 'Much as I wish to defend the gay community, I also want to defend freedom of conscience, expression and religion.' So many things should be a main concern and this is not one of them. Some people just want to start an argument for the sake of argument.
