With the prosecution case against accused former state security minister Bongani Bongo nearing its end on Friday, he and his legal team appeared confident the state would not be able to prove its corruption charge against them.

On Monday the state is expected to call its last witness and judge president John Hlophe has repeatedly expressed his eagerness to conclude the trial.

Modibedi Phindela, secretary to the National Council of Provinces , had corroborated a small but — in the defence's narrative — significant aspect of its argument. Ntuthuzelo Vanara has accused former state security minister Bongani Bongo of offering him a bribe to stop or delay parliament’s inquiry into Eskom in October 2017.This small detail, Bongo asserts, is one of several facts the state's witnesses have conspired to omit as part of a narrative they have allegedly concocted to serve a political campaign against him led by “a certain faction in the governing party”.

Vanara testified that he immediately made contact with Phindela after his October 10 meeting with Bongo and told him he wanted to see him.

Couple of months ago I came across a recommendation about tatiana_alek wealth how she helped investors to earn lots of money with their investments. and I decided to give a trial with the little I have. Now my little has turned into something great which was not my expectation

The NPA charged Bongo on hearsy evidence, he will walk free and be more arrogant

Been successful has been the real deal after i was scammed 3times I finally meet this lady who helped me recovered more than what I lost I wanna say thank you to forex_champs Thanks and I’ll love y’all to join me wining 🇿🇦

Why is the ANC not supporting Bongo in court? No funfair as with Zuma and Ace.

The time will come, they can remain confident.
