And yet, Minister for Women and Equalities Liz Truss and the Equality and Human Right Commission scrapped gender pay gap reporting for 2020, because businesses faced ‘unprecedented uncertainty and pressure’. And whether or not to suspend it for 2021 is ‘under review’, say the Government. with the Trades Union Congress , calling on the Government to reinstate the enforcement of gender pay gap reporting by large companies.
