The Labor Party is working to bring industrial relations to the forefront of political debate and make it the key issue for voters as Opposition Leader AlboMP prepares to detail the party’s IR overhaul heading into the next election.

The Labor Party is working to bring industrial relations to the forefront of political debate and make it the key issue for voters as Opposition Leader Anthony Albanese prepares to detail the party’s IR overhaul heading into the next election. Speaking in Queensland tonight, Mr Albanese will detail his plans to stop the casualisation of the workforce, boost pay and give workers more rights.

He will say “the next federal election will not be a referendum on the coronavirus pandemic, it will be a contest between two very different visions for the future of Australia”. “A battle for the things which matter most to Labor.” Labor frontbencher Tony Burke last night held a midnight press conference to further push the party’s point, saying while no one wanted to work at those hours “these are the hours where penalty rates exist”.

AlboMP Apparently cporterwa believes you’ll be taxing businesses $20 billion dollars a year and casual workers will have better pay and benefits than permanent workers. Is this true AlboMP

AlboMP Is he peeing in a bucket?

AlboMP How long before the 'cowboy' employers and agencies find ways around your plans? Like all Labor 'grand strategies' this is going to do more harm than good. Revamping of current employment methods will only result in more 'contractors' meaning less protection.

AlboMP omg objective headline from sky news!

AlboMP Same old agendas and plans repeated ! What about simply having an agenda that looks after the health, welfare, security and stability of people in a society under pressure OR just being better than Libs at the same game ?

AlboMP This does not create jobs, still good

AlboMP The headline was objective...

AlboMP

AlboMP As they should

AlboMP good luck with that

AlboMP Great, brilliant work! The Liberals bill is ridiculous, a kick in the gut to workers. Now just stop retweeting SkyNews.

AlboMP Good. Thats where it should be

AlboMP Good to have an opposition leader who is shedding light on some horrible policies the LNP are trying to ram through. Actually, good to have an opposition leader whose best mate isn’t a Q theorist and who doesn’t wear cosplay at every opportunity. Morrison is an embarrassment

AlboMP Given the Liberal National government has delivered no wage growth since taking office, blown out our national debt and done nothing but hand cash to their rich mates - it’s time for change. AlboForPM
