It was clear from the beginning that Mitch McConnell wanted Brett. The Last week was nothing but a scene of deception put on by the GOP to make us believe they had an thorough investigation. Collins already was a yes vote, Political Party choice.

How about, they have the votes to confirm a new justice. Justices are there to be apolitical and rule based on the words of the Constitution. But then you have open leftists like Ruth Bader Ginsberg bashing the President & circuit judges blocking policy based on personal animus.
