The Ekiti State Police Command on Tuesday arraigned a 35-year-old man, Bolu Ojo, before an Ado Ekiti Magistrates’ Court for burglary and theft of valuables valued at N524,000.

The police prosecutor, Inspector Oriyomi Akinwale, told the court that the defendant and one other at large committed the offences on December 29, 2020, around 10am at the Ekute Quarters, Ado Ekiti.

He added that the defendant, on the same date, time and place, also “did break into the house of one Professor Thomas Olofintoye to commit felony.”
