CHR calls for unity in protecting children - Manila Bulletin

In a statement, CHR spokesperson Atty. Jacqueline de Guia urged the public to uphold children’s rights amid any circumstances.

CHR spokesperson said that there is an increase in online sexual exploitation and domestic abuse of children particularly in poor families due to the socio-economic effects of the pandemic. De Guia underscored that the welfare of the children and their best interest are the primordial in normal times and even more during a period of crisis.
