Judge Zondo’s sudden confession follows claims by Jacob Zuma’s attorney Eric Mabuza that the deputy justice was biased against his client due to their historical and family relations. Zondo jacobzuma

Johannesburg - Putting an end to weeks of speculation, Deputy Chief Justice Raymond Zondo yesterday confirmed claims that he had a child with former president Jacob Zuma’s sister-in-law.Jacob Zuma Foundation chairperson Dudu Myeni said: “Zondo knows the truth. He must tell the nation the truth.”

“In the mid-1990s – that is about 25 years ago – when I was in my thirties and was still in private practice as a lawyer – I got into a relationship with a certain woman out of which a child was born. That relationship ended during the 1990s,” Zondo said. He said in none of the many matters involving Zuma, in which he has sat in the past, has Zuma ever expressed any complaint or concern nor has he ever brought an application for his recusal.“I do not at this stage intend to address any of the other allegations made in Zuma’s attorney’s letter as I will deal with them if and when Zuma’s application for my recusal is lodged.”

“Viewed in the context of previous media statements, the conduct of the chairperson and treatment of president Zuma by the commission, the chairperson’s utterances have left President Zuma with the distinct impression that the chairperson seeks to target him for special treatment and public humiliation.

Revisiting the issue of Judge Zondo allegedly using press conferences to “rebuke” Zuma, the lawyers said their client was being brandished in a bad light. “The chairperson’s election to reserve media conferences for president Zuma attests to the fact that he seeks to portray him as unco-operative and belligerent in the eyes of the public. No other witness has been subjected to such public rebuke through the media.

There is no 25 years relship at all. The two did not date/mary the two sisters at the same time 🙄. The former president puts the matter as if the ex lover of the Deputy Chief Justice is a Zuma or his sister.

Zuma is a very stupid old man , what he must know he is not dealing with foolish people like ANC crooks, this is highly respected Justice unlike his Lawyer Mabuza .

And Zuma didn’t think about this so called “conflict of interest” when he appointed Judge Zondo Or is it only a problem now that the judge is displaying impartiality and not being the puppet Zuma thought he would be?

😀😀 Mr Zuma knew exactly what he was doing when he appointed Judge Zondo back to drawing board

Even PresJGZuma knowns that during a feast kwamamezale all invited even locals eat and drink. You cannot say you were maintaining locals later. So he must go and be present StateCaptureCom...we watch on TV. Duduzane__Zuma please accompany your papa.

Didn’t he appoint him?

What Jacob Zuma as always it’s try to divert things and play victimhood. He thought with the relationship he had with Zondo wen he appointed him it will work on his favor and their relationship has no bearing in Zondos judicial decisions or duty.

Not surprising that another thief has added her voice in this matter.

I insist: people in this country just cannot think beyond first gear! The fact that “Animal Farm’s Old Major” Zondo has a baby with a (nameless) “certain woman” who happens to be PresJGZuma’s sister-in-law isn’t the heart of Pres. Zuma’s “bias claims”. All is yet to be revealed!

Zondo must chill n give way

Zindala zombili!

A 25yr old gurge 🤣. Bathong! Zuma is not just tricy, he is sneaky & sly 👏

Never in history has one man so fukked up a nation's well-being
