It should always be a equal amount of republicans and democrats on the Supreme Court. This will end the issue of having more of one party. As long as they don’t let their beliefs affect fair justice.

This is a half-right definition that aids the full-on campaign to change the definition from adding new seats to dilute an existing court majority (as FDR tried) to appointing judges who you agree with politically. This allows the GOP to be accused of doing it when they have not.
