According to the charge sheet, the accused allegedly raped his 17-year-old daughter in a house located at Kampung Maju Jaya in Pekan Nenas, Pontian, on June 11 this year at about 11am.It carries a jail sentence of between 10 and 30 years and whipping upon conviction. Deputy public prosecutor Lydia Salleh asked that the accused be denied bail due to the possibility of him disturbing the victim.The court denied bail and set Nov 23 for the case re-mention while waiting for the full medical and chemical report.
