KUALA LUMPUR: Former education minister Mahdzir Khalid could not turn up at the High Court today to testify in Rosmah Mansor’s corruption trial as he is still under quarantine for Covid-19.
“So, the prosecution seeks the court’s indulgence to take this case to next Tuesday afternoon, to have the witness complete his cross-examination and for us to close our case,” he said, adding Mahdzir’s quarantine period ends on Oct 12. He insisted he did not accept any bribe from Jepak Holdings managing director Saidi Abang Samsudin for the project.
“My colleague gave me instructions to start investigations against her based on the other case’s findings,” she said, without disclosing what “other case” she was referring to.
