Authorities are turning their attention to the big fish. Among those in the crosshairs of the Hawks and the NPA are a senior leader of the ANC, a former Cabinet minister, and several officials and businesspeople.

Seven accused in the R255 million asbestos corruption case - high-ranking business and government officials among them - appeared in the Bloemfontein High Court on Friday.

As the Hawks and other law enforcement agencies continue to swoop on alleged beneficiaries of corruption and circle political bigwigs, there is a growing backlash in the ANC against what some believe is a campaign aimed at influencing the balance of forces ahead of crucial conferences next year and in 2022.exclusive journalism and features

They must be displayed on the billboards on all major toll routes in the country. They lie, steal & cheat. That's to so especially to those who have been entrusted with 'power' by the masses through their votes thinking it's for a better life for all. Jail then & throw the key.

Why are they stealing from the poor?

Nothing else seems to embarrass them...not even stealing from their own countrymen.

So that the public can see this is happening and to restore some faith.

This ploy worked in dismantling the Scorpions. It should not be allowed to work this time. Criminals are tried in public courts, it is in the Constitution.

The reason is very simple, the millions of poor people they stole from are paraded daily in their poverty and hunger in the so called informal settlements

Exposing wrongdoers or criminals is similar to exposing ANC members who kill another ANC member for the purpose of getting his job.

why should the ANC have 'anonymity' they are common criminals just as if it was a 'normal' member of the public being arrested for fraud or corruption or any other crime,

Why did these people commit the crimes to begin with? They were not ashamed when they commit these crimes.

Why are you only questioning it now ? It has always been done that way long ago and nobody had issues with it only now when it involves politically connected people that it's an issue

Embarrass them, they started, coming with big engine cars to the poorest of the poor.

Justice must be seen to be done.

Why have a special treatment, a thief is thief and should be treated that.

It's actually content we love to see after the thieves have been stunting with public funds.

They deserve much more than embarrassment!

TimModise Criminals should not have the benefit of dignity. It is in the public interest to see who these criminals are..... No worse than shutting down business on account of a shampoo ad...

TimModise 'That's what we fought against'. What a bunch of nonsense..now criminals want to tell our law enforcement how to go about their business of conducting arrests!!? He'll no! 'All things done in the dark shall come to light'. So deal with it MYANC! Insanity!😡

Why do ppl embarrass themselves in the first place by stealing money?

Show us more of the rubbish. We are waiting for selfies from prison

Why we don't ask why they're in court? At Zondo, Sodi was actually boosting not being aware that he was implicating himself & others.

Tell that Luthuli House inside that if you steal from the poor, we will most def name and shame you.🤬🤬🤬

But their also reckless with their spending. 😂😂😂Showing off their expensive lifestyle. They deserve to be paraded in public. With handcuffs

A backward, criminal syndicate

Public funds looted in private, must remain private. Those who stole should be arrested in private 🤔. The consistency 😂

TimModise NameAndShame ANCPhatKats

Because if you stole from the poor the poor is embarrassed on a daily basis. So if you are caught out from stealing from the poor you one should not only be embarrassed, one should hang by the neck!!

If you want to be important to be close the TAX stream, then you have to be important if you are arrested. With great power comes great responsibility. If you don't want the responsibility don't take up the power.

TimModise Suck it up buttercup

TimModise This is not a fight against corruption but it is political war against the ANC. Cyril is here to target those who funded both the ANC and individuals candidates labelled them as corrupt , humiliating and embarrassing them. He's protecting his position as the ANC president.

The cameras have to be there because they stole our tax money and and humiliated us by stealing.

What happened in the dark must come to the light

We want everybody see these crooks

If you are in government or a political party an you are arrested, then the people MUST know.

Lmao 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 MYANC is classic... They want VIP status even in Cuffs.... 😂😂😂 What kak... 🤣

Don’t steal from the poor if you don’t want to be embarrassed.

You were not embarrassed to steal from us. So why are you embarrassed when they arrest you and show us. Its the right thing to do.

How DISGUSTING was it when they stole the millions/billions etc that could have helped millions of people instead of an individual or bunch of crooks. They should parade these bastards in the streets for all i care. They stole from the poorest of the poor

These are the questions that we all asking

I like the photos , I don’t steal public’s funds, pay my taxes, follow the rules of law so I have no issue with the photos why do you have a problem with it, ask the people impacted by the theft how they feel

We paid for their lavish lifestyles, let us at least get some entertainment out of it

We talking abt ppl who allegedly stole public funds who are quick to shout the loudest abt 😤 publicity stunts. What world are you living in. Can't you see you living in your own world. Give to the PUBLIC what belongs to the PUBLIC.

What is that Zulu proverb I will directly translate it into English. What has horns cannot be hidden. The stealing was happening in the dark, it must now be brought to light.

They didn't have a problem when the Cato Manor cops were paraded to the media, now its one of their own... equal treatment folks, I know it sucks, but hey, shit happens.

Luthuli House insider, we won’t fall for that again! Why must thieves&scoundrels be respected, when they go around parading their ill gotten wealth for everyone to see,as if they’ve worked hard for it!Therefore Its surprising that they suddenly hate limelight!

thabang350 The hawks might as embarrass them, because that might be the only justice, we can get

It’s all fun and games when they want all the spotlight on them when bragging to the poor, huh?.. Let the show go on. Document and record everything. Damn, invite all media to these arrests.

Thieves and cooks have to be exposed in totality.

Name and shame.

We defenetly want to see lamasela aba iimali zethu ,more and more cameras needed

If the thieving swine felt any shame themselves it wouldn’t be needed, they wouldn’t have done it. Broadcast it, it’s shameful, this is absolutely the way it should be.

Public figures, public trials and public executions?

😂😂😂 I've never seen anything more ridiculous

Why do they embarrass the ANC..? And associate it with corruption, when it has a rich legacy of liberation and Mandela...? Corrupt individuals will no longer control our political narrative ...they used the argument in killing the scorpions....never again, it is going to work..

Because the public has waited too long for these arrests.... Bring on the cameras! 📸📸📸

Its insufficient for Justice to BE done, it must also BE SEEN to be done. It's a requirement in order to deter others from committing similar crimes.

They should be placing these cadres' faces on damn billboards! Every week, a slew of TV adverts and full page news paper photos, should be published showing that week's arrested cadres!

Justice must be seen to be done.....it is their tax money that is stolen and misused by corrupt politicians.....it is a pity, we no longer have a jury system in SA.....to strengthen the notion of ' The people against.....'...

So that all the others looters know we're coming for them!

The people of Mzanzi wants to know who is stealing their children's future. They should be glad they're not tried and sentenced in the streets.

Kuyahlanya lokho ukutshele. Kufihlwa kifihlwani? Was it not enough when they were stealing our money? Whats in for him? Is he part of the corruption gang?

Why not!

Because they were shameless in their looting and stealing from the poor.

Don't steel and then there will be need for cameras!!!!!

Insider it's Ace himself

Luthuli house is full of factional self seekers. The house would do well to shut them up while getting rid of them. The question should be why steal from tax payers and the poor.

Tsek we wanna see the crooked being handcuffed 🤣

If you steal public funds, then the public deserves to see justice taking place

😂😂😂😂

Why are they STEALING tax payers money? If you dont want to be embarrassed dont steal

You weren't ashamed to do the crime. This is the consequence.

LuthuliHouse Looters openly loot and steal.... Now they want their arrests to be away from 'prying' eyes..

Talk about public interest🙂

Wow. More fun and games this week

It's the global paparazzi bread an butter way and smartphones have increased the emerging market wannabee paparazzi by 10,000+ fold ... cold hearted callous media parasites vultures watching the corpse flopping, suffering, dying hoping to get the 1,000,000 views video ...

publicity stunts? go tell who ever said that to go disband the hawks like they did with the scorpions. we are tired of these thieving maggots.

What else did Ace... ag sorry I mean the Luthuli house insider... say?

Because ‘JUSTICE MUST BE SEEN TO BE DONE’!!! Justice is not something that happens behind closed doors🙄🙄🙄

If you don’t want to be famous you probably shouldn’t steal from SA...?

But they always on camera flashing their fancy suits, cars and houses used from our taxes

No looting then no cameras

If someone deliberately steals from the poor, the tax payers + destroys our country’s economy be it by blatant theft, stupidity, ineptness, tenders, greed, they SHOULD be named and shamed! A disgrace, economic sabotage, treason, abuse of position of trust - the whole lot! Jail!

Aye the LootHuli insider

Don’t give a fuck, just arrest them and jail them.

Let’s not commit crimes, the end.

Expose the rot. It’s our money they stealing. We have a right as taxpayers to see who the thieves in MYANC are✊

Why should people who loot public funds be given or treated with any form of respect? If they were innocent, they wouldn't mind cameras. We have reached such low levels that we focus on what is happening now instead of the crimes committed. They public have a right to see them.

Because we deserve to know who the AfricanNationalCorruption scumbags are. VoetsekANC

“Luthuli House insider” 🤣😂🤣🙈

We love the cameras. Bring more cameras when the phucking crooks are arrested.

Arrest them they don't look for our needs they are there for families

Must go ahead and arrest these politicians once and for all. Rule of law must cannot go wrong.

We heard it again and again - only action will satisfy society
