The American Medical Association, the main industry group for doctors, is asking the Supreme Court to block the Trump admin. rule barring federally funded health care providers in the Title X family planning program from referring patients for abortions

The petition filed Thursday comes as the high court faces a vacancy following the death of Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg. But a contentious confirmation fight looms over President Donald Trump's pick for the seat, federal appeals court judge Amy Coney Barrett, who has expressed views and joined opinions that suggest she is receptive to further restrictions on abortion rights and would likely help further cement a conservative majority on the court.

About 900 clinics dropped out of the program by the start of 2020, according to a report by reproductive rights group Power to Decide, citing instances of more limited and expensive services. Additionally, after HHS opted to reassign the relinquished Title X funds to other remaining participants, a report by the nonpartisan Kaiser Family Foundation found gaps in the new coverage.

American Medical Association wants federal funds to freely perform abortions and Trump administration is against this. Very interesting. Yet heard people saying it’s immoral to vote for Trump.Thought doctors were supposed to save lives?Guess a foetus is not considered a life, eh?

Gotta keep on killing babies.

Only those drinking the China owned media's lies are so easily scared about Roe V Wade being overruled. The bottom line is it would go back to each individual state to decide. It's a states right issue. Most will allow abortion, few won't.
