I was born in the USA. My parents were born here also. Although I’m well aware of the importance of the census, I won’t participate if a citizenship question is on it in protest
We should all mark that box - mire them in their own beauracracy for the rest of the administration.
The Census has asked non-required questions for its entire existence. No one was worried that uneducated Americans might not want to disclose their level of ed as was asked. So, if illegals don’t want to answer, then who cares....should be citizens only anyway.

To properly assess the issue of illegal residency the question makes sense, but it will effectively ensure vast ’s of people don’t participate for fear of repercussions. We can’t fix a broken immigration system we don’t fully understand.

It's reasons such as this as to why there is a rush to seat Kavanaugh. The Trump administration wants to by pass the lower courts to a more favorable higher court. However, they will probably still find the Court reluctant to intervene, unless there is a conflict between couts.
