Amy Coney Barrett of South Bend, Indiana, has been described by colleagues and friends as a dedicated mom of seven children, two of whom were adopted from Haiti. Her youngest child has Down Syndrome.

Barrett was on the shortlist to replace Justice Anthony Kennedy when he retired in 2018. Trump instead chose conservative judge Brett Kavanaugh.Barrett, 48, was born and raised in New Orleans, Louisiana. Her mother was a French teacher and her father was a lawyer.

In October 2017, with just an hour to go until she was voted into the 7th District Court of Appeals by the U.S. Senate, Barrett was outside trick-or-treating with her kids.Barrett’s strong Catholic faith has placed her firmly in the eye of the national debate over who will replace Ginsburg, and what ideology the new judge will bring.

an attorney and one of Barrett's former University of Notre Dame students, told the South Bend Tribune. At her home in South Bend, Barrett is far from a polemic figure. She is an active community member who is highly regarded by students and staff at Notre Dame.

She is a nice person!

Any illegal nannies?

Wonder what she thinks about forced hysterectomies and family separations.

I bet she gets primo benefits for her 7 kids. Nice

Who didn’t she adopt children from her own country there’s thousands of children that need homes .

She believes the court should make rules for a woman's body, take away health care, pushes her religious beliefs. Men would throw a bitch fit if the court controlled their bodies. How about castration in rape cases - oops that would include one of the justices and the president.

USA going straight for the kids.

Well she might be sympathetic to immigrants. Unless she drank the donny koolaid and swore to his allegiance. This might be really fxxked for the rest of America.

I don't need to know anything about her except she is going to vote exactly how trump tells her to vote.

fake news there will not be a fight or problem over confirming Ms Barrett like you think and want The senate will confirm her next week and our SCOTUS will be filled and ready to take on voter fraud if it comes up Ain’t this a great nation of laws?

Who the fuck cares . She wants to ban abortion and gay marriage

The fact that she supports Trump raises a red flag.

And they all have healthcare 🤨 Cunt

Very happy to see a lady with strong values being nominated.

Every day, the background on that woman gets worse and worse. Just our luck, she could have yet another baby, if confirmed, while serving. Just what we need-NOT!

I WANNA KNOW what she really feels about Mayor Pete

By nominating Barrett, Trump is telling us he doesn't need more votes to remain in office. He would have gotten over a million more votes by nominating a black, liberal woman, but, because he's going to steal a election he knows he's losing, he didn't do it.

The nomination of Amy Coney Barrett to the SCOTUS brings up questions of religious bias on the Court and separation of church and state. Her opinions will potentially impact the Constitutional concepts of human dignity and equal protection under the law.

Will she follow the Constitution or the Pope?

And the media is digging as hard as they can to smear her the moment she is announced as the nominee. As ordered by the DNC.

Great choice Trump, not only the best female candidate for this position, she is just the best candidate!

The glorious ACB

Block her . Payback for Merrick Garland .

You would think she would give a damn about people having health care

SHE.HAS.BEEN.A.JUDGE.FOR.LESS.THAN.FIVE.YEARS. Start with that.

Fill TheSeatNOW ‼️ AmyConeyBarrett 🇺🇸😎

That trump picked her is all I need to know about someone

She doesn't have time to be a SCOTUS justice.

And she will take away your healthcare and a woman's right to choose, but other than that...
