I was a graduate law student in the United States when the dastard and horrific event now called 9/11 happened. I cannot forget that day. Very early in the morning, I woke up to use the bathroom before preparing for classes. As I made for the bathroom, I passed through the common room. We leave the television on as we read and rest occasionally into the late night. A horrible sight flashed through the screen.

Throughout this period, the best of the United States came out. Mayor Juddy Guilian was fantastic. He mobilised a mourning city to start rebuilding and dreaming again; the faltering President George Bush Jnr sized up and led from the front. The neocons saw an opportunity and launched a scorching war against terror with the famous one liner: Axis of Evil. The world was recreated in the fevered imagination of the troika of President Bush, V.

It's america's headache not Nigeria's problem, they should move on, after all their preemptive war destroyed and killed millions of lives in Iraq and Afghanistan and was still based on a lie.
