A Darwin court hears prosecutors have a 'strong case' against 43-year-old Daniel Keelan, an NT police officer accused of drugs, stealing and firearms offences.

A Northern Territory police officer accused of supplying cocaine to a colleague and stealing a police-issued gun has been granted bail.The court heard he is likely to enter "some sort of negotiated plea of guilty"Daniel Keelan was charged with supply and possession of dangerous drugs, stealing and firearms offences on Friday night before spending the weekend in custody.

Mr Keelan was released with a $5,000 bond and a string of bail conditions, including that he undergo drug testing.
