Democrats should consider 'impeaching Bill Barr': AOC | Sky News Australia

Democrats should use every tool in their disposal, including impeaching Attorney General Bill Barr, in order to stop Republicans filling the vacancy left in the wake of Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg, according to New York Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez. Democrats have argued Justice Ginsburg's successor should not be chosen until after the election in November. However, President Trump has insisted the Republican Party is obliged to replace Justice Ginsburg "without delay".

"We must use every tool at our disposal, from everyday people especially in swing states, we need everyday people to call on senators, to call on folks on the bubble, to call Republican senators to make sure that they hold this vacancy open," she said. "And we must also commit to holding every procedural tool available to us to ensure that we buy ourselves the time necessary.
