KOTA KINABALU: Former chief minister Tan Sri Musa Aman feels disappointed with the Court of Appeal’s decision to dismiss his bid along with 32 other assemblymen to stop the July 30 dissolution of the state assembly.

“All 33 of us are, of course, very disappointed. Nevertheless, we respect the decision of the court, ” he said in a statement on Tuesday .

He said on Aug 26,2020 the Federal Court took cognisance that his appointment as Sabah Chief Minister on May 10,2018 was valid and in accordance with the Constitution of Sabah. He said the matter was pending before the Federal Court and his lawyers were seeking an early hearing date. “To allow such a person to exercise the constitutional duties of the chief minister will have far-reaching ramifications, like what we are seeing at the moment, ” he said.
