LUMUT : Seven men were fined between RM2,800 and RM3,000 by the Seri Manjung Magistrate's Court here Tuesday after pleading guilty to rioting in front of a temple here last week.

Five others, namely Goh Kok Soon, 36; Ooi Jing Hen, 21; Tan Yuen Guan, 20, and Lim Zi Yin and Oh Tiong Min were each fined RM3,000 in default eight months' jail. All the accused were charged with committing the offence in front of the Fu Ling Kong Temple in Sungai Pinang Besar, Pangkor, Manjung here at about 9.30pm on Sept 1.
