WASHINGTON—Hundreds of demonstrators arrived at the Lincoln Memorial for a rally meant to hark back to the civil-rights struggles and accomplishments of the 1960s, with activists set to renew their push for policing overhauls that began in response to the police shooting of Black citizens this summer.
The group, which is expected to grow to the thousands by midmorning Friday, will march from the Lincoln Memorial to the Martin Luther King Jr. Memorial about a half-mile away.
