Donald Trump was smart to focus on the unrest plaguing many Democrat-run cities during his official Republican presidential nomination acceptance speech, according to Sky News host James Morrow. During his almost 80 minute long speech on the White House lawn, President Trump said the upcoming election would "decide whether we save the American Dream, or whether we allow a socialist agenda to demolish our cherished destiny.
The President also touched on the unrest sweeping across some cities in the US in the wake of the shooting of black man Jacob Blake was shot seven times by police. While some protesters have conducted themselves peacefully, some have turned to looting-and-violence, which Democratic Presidential candidate Joe Biden has condemned. Mr Morrow said the Democrats are still trying to imply Trump supporters are "deplorables" whereas Trump is trying to entice wavering left-wing voters.
