SEREMBAN: A 30-year-old doctor claimed trial at the Magistrate's Court here to a charge of cheating a man of RM43,000 in a non-existent investment scheme.

Dr Mohd Rafi'uddin Hamidon, who works at a government hospital, pleaded not guilty after the charge was read to him before magistrate Mahyun Yusof.

The victim transferred the amount online into a bank account belonging to a company owned by the accused.
