Toronto officer Michael Theriault challenges assault conviction stemming from Dafonte Miller beating

Michael Lacy, who represents Const. Michael Theriault, says they have filed an application to vacate the verdict, arguing the conviction for assault was not available to the court. But he said the self-defence argument collapsed when Theriault armed himself with a roughly metre-long pipe and hit Miller in the head as the then-19-year-old was retreating.

This POS belongs in jail, preferably general prison population where justice will be served.

Asshole knows he’s guilty, Why waste the taxpayers money!

Doesn't sound like this violent man is suited to his job. Weeding out the sociopaths is the goal, not protecting them.
