After court ruling, Musa sets sights on being declared rightful Sabah CM

Musa Aman’s challenge against his dismissal as Sabah chief minister will now go to the highest court.

“Praise be to Allah for I have been granted leave by the Federal Court today to proceed with my appeal to be declared the rightful chief minister of Sabah,” he said in a statement here today. Musa said the court was also of the view that the outcome of this case was significant not just for one individual but for Sabahans in particular and the nation in general.

“Like I said before, this case is not about me. It is about the fight for truth, justice and the upholding of the Sabah constitution,” he said, thanking his family, legal team, friends, political comrades and supporters who have stuck with him all these years.
