news_australian Peter_Fitz peter_Fitz you and rugby union suck. It takes no skill to be a forward.

news_australian Peter_Fitz If Slater didn’t play there would have been no Storm supporters at that final. What are you bitching about? Storm didn’t win anyway.

Peter_Fitz Ah but it’s all about the money the NRL made from banbilly playing.

Peter_Fitz The NRL is just nonsense all round. A gladiator sport that is in the money making business and has no real regard for the safety of players. Should be let die a natural death.

Peter_Fitz Others have been found guilty for less MelbourneStorm_ paid well obviously.

Peter_Fitz Drop it. It’s over.

Peter_Fitz

Peter_Fitz Defenders pectoral muscle contacting attackers shoulder does not constitute a shoulder charge. Add outstretched right arm in wrapping motion to tie up the ball. Not a shoulder charge. Another completely biased NSW commentator.

Peter_Fitz I disagree with you on this one.

rabbitoh_von Peter_Fitz The games corrupt

Peter_Fitz

Peter_Fitz If it's not done by Billy Slater, Cameron Smith, or a Rooster.

Peter_Fitz Year 2000 he plays billiard snook er in the officers mess beware of the monkey 🐒, the lot

Peter_Fitz There is only one billyslater !

Peter_Fitz Using a shoulder alone and not any part of his arms, as the rule states. Both arms were used in the play. Campaign for a rule change if you’re really that concerned

Peter_Fitz No, it was expedient that he be freed up to play football. He is a crowd pleaser, which translates to $$$. So the "game" wins. Ethics go out the window.

Peter_Fitz Move on

Peter_Fitz I reluctantly agree with Malthouse about bumping in the women's game. They are suffering a lot of concussion injuries.

rabbitoh_von Peter_Fitz Spot on. It’s the rule. They didn’t apply it because of standing and circumstances. Abundantly clear. And whether they realise it or not, the judiciary just said the referee was wrong to even blow a penalty. NRL management are corrupt, bumbling fools.

Peter_Fitz I always liked Tampa Bay because of the old Morecombe and Wise joke. 'Where's your buccaneers? Under my buckin hat'

Peter_Fitz Its Billy Slater and it's his last game. I imagine channel 9 narrative on GF will be centered around being the last game of a champion blah blah vs the injured but still playing former storm and also champion half back. So the rules took a back seat and the GF story saved

Peter_Fitz The NRL condones concussions and brain injuries. Looks like there will be more of them thanks to this decision. It sets the precedent now.

Peter_Fitz Looking forward to Mitchell putting a not technically shoulder charge tackle on Slater on Sunday.

Peter_Fitz At least it’s not a high tacle around the neck , because of the NRL decision to allow Billy to play , you ll find this all shoulder charges will be accepted , if it’s good for SlAyter it’s good for the others !!

Peter_Fitz That dopey pirate peter_fitz wouldn’t know a shoulder charge if it hit him in the face. And with a face like that, several probably did.

Peter_Fitz Slater will do anything to save a try. That’s obvious. Remember when he use to lead with the legs kicking opposition players in the face The NRL management is a farce continually bowing down to their corporate masters I don’t like either team much, not really hyped about this gf

Peter_Fitz Even my 6 yrs old son said its a shoulder charged😂✌️

Peter_Fitz If it was an accidental shoulder charge, does that make it ok?

Peter_Fitz Not blind. They seem to put viewer numbers due to celebrity players higher than actual enforcement of rules. Slater has form for playing like a grub. If it was anyone else in the first game of the season, they would have been guilty. Where is the side on view to prove the charge?

Peter_Fitz "The player did not use, or attempt to use, his arms (including his hands) to tackle or otherwise take hold of the opposing player." NRL 2017

Peter_Fitz Rules are full of inconsistencies, anyway. It's unsafe to attack a defending player in the air but can take the legs out from under an attacking player... coz apparently, the laws of physics don't apply.
